The Instant Replacement Service is a service program that provides for a replacement product to be shipped to you within 24-hours, should anything happen to your Barracuda Networks product. The Instant Replacement Service is sold in one-year, three-year and five-year increments and is renewable upon expiration.
We know how important it is to have 100% uptime in corporate environments. We have worked hard to build industrial strength reliable "carrier grade" equipment. Our systems have a 99.99% uptime.
We are also realistic and understand that sometimes things still go wrong and equipment does fail. We, therefore, offer the Barracuda Instant Replacement Service.
With the Instant Replacement Service, we provide next business day shipping of replacement hardware. If your Barracuda Networks product fails, we will ship you a replacement unit within 1 business day so that you can get back up and running. We will bill you pending return of the failed unit, but once the unit is received, you will be fully credited.
In addition, the Instant Replacement Service includes:
- Enhanced Support which provides phone and email support 24x7.
- Data migration service for Barracuda Spam Firewalls. Barracuda Networks will assist movement of data and configuration from the old product to the new product if the old data is accessible.
- Hard Disk replacement on Barracuda Networks models that have swappable raid drives. Barracuda Networks will ship via standard shipping a hard disk replacement. Customer must return the failed hard disk to Barracuda Networks.
This service is designed for corporate environments that cannot afford downtime.
The Instant Replacement Service begins on the date the Barracuda Networks product is delivered to you and expires exactly one year, three years, or five years from the delivery date, depending on the specific service plan purchased.
You will have 60 days from the date of purchase of the Barracuda Networks product to decide if you wish to purchase the Instant Replacement Service. If you wish to purchase the Instant Replacement Service within the 60-day window, the Service will retroactively begin on the delivery date of the Barracuda Networks product and continue for the time period purchased.
The Instant Replacement Service does not cover:
- External causes such as abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power;
- Servicing not authorized by Barracuda Networks;
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions;
- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance;
- Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by Barracuda Networks;
- Products with missing or altered serial numbers;
- Products for which Barracuda Networks has not received payment.
